I know a lot of you are DIY'ers, and I've gotten the Itch to DIY. My question concerns acrylic. I need to bond two pieces of acrylic together, and from what i can find on the net Weld-On #4 or #16 do the trick, but no one in regina sells the stuff. Now I've been to homedepot, rona and canadian tire questioning everyone who works there and no one has any clue on bonding this stuff. i was told "just use silicon, it'll do". What do you guys use when bonding acrylic? also, what type of acrylic do you use? I know Lexan is a completely different beast to plexiglass and what bonds one will destroy the other...
Any help in this new world of plastics would be greatly appreciatedl!

The expert would be sphelps, but if you need weld-on #16 I have some and you can buy it in Regina at Davies Plastics.
