Crab Trap

I have what looks to be a grey crab living in my live rock. I have been having some problems with my Diadema Dotty that sleeps in the LR and has lost all of her tail. I have read about DIY pop bottle traps and was wondering if anyone here has had success with catching problem critters.

if the rock has no other life on it take it out if you know the crab is in there then just coax him out of his hole, or put the rock, touching water in a tilted pan or trash can lid is what i used and eventually he crawled into the water. or you could do the mean thing and just kill the little guy with a fork or somesort of other stabby object. worked for me and now no more crab.
