Well I'm gonna give some acylic work my best shot. I picked up some acylic for a diy recirculating skimmer. It should be 40" tall with a 30" reaction chamber. Water will drain from my tank into the skimmer then a Gen-x 2400 will keep recirculating the water through a venturi to add air. Same idea as the deltec skimmers but not as pretty cause I can't thermoform acrylic. The body and collection cup will be 6" acrylic tubing with a 3" riser between them. Flanges will be 1/4 acrylic. I'll post progress as I get further into it. Wish me luck, at 25 bucks a foot I don't wanna screw this up.

Should be fun, where did you get the acrylic? I need some black sheet to cover a overflow with.

I got the acylic from Davey plastics. It's across from the Advance service center in Eastview, thats the only way I knew it existed. It was one stop shopping for me, they even had the solvent I needed and gave me a syringe to apply it with. I made some aluminum templates for my flanges and stuff tonite so I just have to break out the router table and rout up my flanges right away.
