Ballast/bulds question

im looking into buying a 2 250w se mogul bulbs 10k. can i use any 250w ballast or do i need a special ballast to match the bulbs.

depends on the bulbs. find out what kind of bulbs they are (probe start or pulse start) and go from there. as for ballasts probe start = M58, pulse start = M138.

and if you ask me, get it over with and buy an HQI ballast becasue they're the best and run -any- 250w bulb, mogul, pulse, probe, double ended, you name it...and not only does it run any bulb, it runs it more efficiently than any other ballast. :D

however, if you just want something that works, M58 + XM 10k bulbs = best bang for your buck.
