Here's the start of my new sump. I'm tired of my old one being almost as tall as I am. It really makes working in it a pain in the arse for me. My new sump will be 36" x 26" x 15" making it only a 55 gallon but waaaaay more effective than the last cause water changes will be at the flick of a switch and top ups will be automatic. I am going to have a refugium section, skimmer section and return section with 3 baffles. Here's what I have so far, the rest of my glass will be done next week.

Baffles and refugium section have been added, so for the most part the sump is complete. I would like to add eggcrating or gutterguard on top of the fuge divider to keep various things out of the rest of the sump. Fuge is the right hand section, skimmer section in the middle and return on left. I have only two drains from the tank so one will go to the skimmer the other will likely be t'ed off to go to the fuge and to a place with Chemi-pure and Phos-ban, I'm just not sure where that place is gonna be yet. Here's some more pics.

Here she is, water tested and ready to rock and roll. It's fuller (is that a word?) now than it'll ever be but better safe than divorced.
