Protein Skimmer

I have seen alot of Protein Skimmers in the last year. I wont say anything bad about any other Skimmers. But I will tell one thing for sure I just set-up my new Protein Skimmer today, and let me tell you its top notch, I havent seen a Skimmer like this one. I would put it up against any skimmer out there. Its a LifeReef, Jeff sure knows his Salt Equipment. Jeff has been building Skimmer, sumps, reactors etc, for 26 years and to be rated in the top 5 Protein Skimmers says it all. The collection cup is amazing, it has a built in drain, if you dont want to remove cup to empty. Also has a self clean venturi. I could go on for ever, check out his web site, and heres the link to his Skimmer. Read I think you will find it interesting. Brian, my sump had a built in Protien Skimmer, the skimmer worked just fine. I decided I needed more room in my sump. I have been thinking of going with an external skimmer for sometime now. I'm glad I did, Im so impressed.

My LifeReef Skimmer cost me $700.00 all say and done I would not replace it with any other skimmer, it works awesome and thats all that counts. I skim so much junk its unreal. Just ask anyone that has seen it.
