Fishy!

I am having trouble keeping this Macro Alge under control in the display portion of my Nano reef. Is there any other way to control it besides ripping it out. This stuff seems to "root" into the rocks and is a pain to get out of the tank. Any ideas besides adding animals?
Thanks,
kris

I had emerald crabs that would eat it. I added 4 of them to my 10 gallon nano and my caluerpa dissapeared for good.

Depends on the type. Some kinds they won't touch, and the only way to keep it under control is to harvest it. Sometimes when you havest it lots and often it will die off by itself. Depending on what is in the tank, leaving the lights off for 2 or 3 days will also help to kill it off. Good luck
