Skimmer takes some time to start up

I unplug the pump for my skimmer for about an hour when feeding the corals. When I plug it back in to srat up, it takes almost a minute to `get going' - I don't think it used to take this long? Time to check the pump for plugging or are there other reasons for observing this?

My Lil'prizim skimmer does the same thing when I unplug it for a bit....But like your after it gets warmed up it work fine...:icon_cool

or dirty impeller housing
