I'm looking for someone who could make me a custom glass tank. The dimensions would be something like 36" L x 36" W x 20" T. 3 sides need to be starphire glass and the rest preferably regular tinted. An internal overflow is needed and possibly a couple extra holes drilled in the bottom of the tank for some closed circulation systems. I want 1/2" glass on the bottom and 3/8" glass for the rest. A frameless tank would be nice but not necessary.

Anyone know of someone that could do this, I can get the glass no problem, cut to size and everything, just need someone to slap it together nicely.

As in area do you mean immediate area?
The only person that I know of is Rob at Animal World in Medicine Hat that does custom tanks. There is also a very good one in Calgary, Bow Valley pets is the top tank builder in the city.

I'm aware of everything available in Alberta, especially Calgary (I lived there for 12 years). But how do I transport a tank of this size from there to here? Or better yet how do I afford the transport from there to here??

I’d really prefer to find someone in Saskatoon, or close by.

Thanks though

Nice..lol
My dad is good friends with the Speedy guys in Weyburn and they built my custom sump for me out of spare glass.

I guess, I will see what I can do. I am sure of course, they won't guarantee any of the work for leaks etc...as it is out of their normal expertise.

Well I happen to know that that tank constanly leaks, it's been repaired several times, so maybe there not the best people to make tanks. And I was under the impression that Curtis from World of Pets ordered that tank in for them, but that could be a bunch of BS.

I'm still suggesting Glacier Glass in Regina - they can do whatever you need to have done and they aren't overpriced.

yeah that tank does constantly leak, they have it on a wood stand and the stand is damn near rotten so that might be a big factor with stress points and stuff.
