plywood tanks

has anyone made plywood tanks that have a viewing panel on the front?? how do you attach the glass or acrylic to the wood? just a crapload of silicone?? i must make a bigger tank for my predators.

I'm planning on building a plywood tank to one of these days (for the same reason), maybe we could split the epoxy paint and save some money.
